Frequently asked questions
Will these stick to a textured or frosted window?
Static cling needs a smooth, flat surface to grip. Clear glass, mirrors, and glass doors work best. Frosted or textured glass gives the decal less surface to hold onto.
What if they stop clinging after a while?
Dust on the back is usually the reason. Wipe the decal with a damp cloth, let it dry fully, and press it back on. That restores the grip.
Can I cut the sheets into smaller pieces?
Yes. The PVC cuts cleanly with regular scissors if you want to separate individual characters or fit a smaller pane.
Do they work on car windows?
They will cling to car glass, but check your local rules first. Some states limit what you can place on a windshield or front side windows.
How to use
- Step 1: Clean the window with glass cleaner and dry it completely. Any dust or streaks will weaken the cling.
- Step 2: Peel the decal from its backing sheet. Keep the backing — you'll need it for storage.
- Step 3: Place the decal on the glass and smooth it from the center outward with your hand. This pushes out air bubbles in about 10 seconds.
- Step 4: To reposition, lift a corner and slide it. To store, press it back onto the backing sheet and keep it flat.
