Will balloon jeans work if I'm shorter than 5'6"?
Yes. Cinch the ankle ties tighter to shorten the visible leg line and keep the volume higher up. The inseam is 32.5 to 33.5 inches depending on size, so shorter frames can also cuff or hem without losing the shape.
