Yes, but most people don't need to. The footbed is already contoured. If you prefer your own orthotics, remove nothing — just slip them on top and go up half a size for room.
Will the plush lining flatten out after a season?
Short-pile plush holds its loft better than long faux fur, which mats down. Air them out after wet days and the lining stays springy.
Are they warm enough for standing outside for a while?
They're built for errands, dog walks, school pickup and shoveling. For hours of standing still in deep cold, add a wool sock for extra insulation.
How do I clean them after slushy roads?
